Subject: Supported Employment Program for Individuals with Intellectual
and Developmental Disabilities Request for Proposal Opening
Statement of Issue:
Responses to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Supported Employment Program for
Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities will be received up until
the hour of 10:00 a.m. on October 11, 2021 at the County Commissioners Office.
Public Works requests that staff open the sealed proposals as part of the BoCC's
regular meeting at approximately 10:30 a.m.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's:
Public Works will review proposals and make a recommendation to the Board of
County Commissioners after careful consideration. Contractor selection will be made
using criteria stated in the RFP. Public Works anticipates making a recommendation to
the Board of County Commissioners by November 30, 2021.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis:
Staff time for the RFP process and analysis is budgeted for.
Recommendation:
Include the opening of sealed responses by Public Works staff as part of the BoCC's
October 11, 2021 regular meeting.
