County Road Rights of Ways: x
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board of County Commissioners
that it is in the public interest to vacate, as county road rights of way, the portions of the
following County Road Rights of Way, described as follows:
Watson Road, No. 507709:
All that portion of Watson Road defined as usage right of way lying north of the
Teal Lake Road No. 505309, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 21, Township 28
North, Range 1 East and extending northeasterly through the north 1/2 of the
Southwest 1/4 and continuing northerly through the Northwest 1/4 of Section 22,
Township 28 North, Range 1 East; thence northerly terminating at the southerly
margin of right of way limits of Paradise Bay Road No. 503608, located in the
West 1/2 of the Southwest Quarter of Section 15, Township 28 North, Range 1
East, W.M., a total distance of approximately 1.26 miles.
Tyner Road, No.522109
All that portion of Tyner Road defined as usage right of way lying north of the
northerly right of way limits of Godfrey Street No. 522209, located in the west
1/2 of Block 4, Plat of Irondale Orchard Tracks, Recorded under Auditor File No.
28191, on or about July 14,1909, situated in the Southeast Quarter of Section 10,
Township 29 North, Range 1 West, W.M., a total distance of approximately 0.07
miles.
N. Old Flagler Road No.654509
All that portion of N. Old Flagler Road lying north of the intersection of Flagler
Road, SR 116, and Oak Bay Road No.C569908, located in Block 8, Plat of
Kuhnsville, Recorded Volume 1 of Plats, Page 35, records of Jefferson County on
or about June 23, 1886, situated in the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 12, Township 29 North, Range 1 West, W.M., a distance of
approximately 0.05 miles.
Situate in Jefferson County, State of Washington.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, and in contemplation of the language of
statute R.C.W. 36.87.010, the County Engineer is hereby directed to examine said roads
and report his opinion as to whether this county road right of way should be vacated and
abandoned and all other facts, matter and things which will be of importance to the
Board, and that such report to be filed as soon as possible. The hearing date for the
proposed vacation is May 20,2003 at the hour of 1:00 p.m., with the Jefferson County
Hearing Examiner in the first floor conference room, Courthouse, Port Townsend,
Washington.
