RESOLUTION NO. 46....D:i
WHEREAS, Parkridge Drive, Woodland Drive extension, Mountain Vista, Quail Ridge Court, and
Blue Horizon Court have been established as Public Rights-of-Way in the Woodland Hills 2 Long Plat; and
WHEREAS, these roads have been constructed to the standards of the Jefferson County Department of
Public Works; and
WHEREAS, these roads will be maintained at public expense; and
WHEREAS, the Official County Road Log is filed in the County Engineer's Office;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Engineer is hereby directed to make the following
additions to the Official County Road Log:

County Engineer's Report for additions to the County Road Log;
Parkridge Drive, Woodland Drive extension, Mountain Vista, Quail Ridge
Court, and Blue Horizon Court
The rights-of-way for the referenced roads were dedicated to Jefferson County on the Plat of
Woodland Hills 2, Phase 1.
The Public Works Department reviewed and approved the road construction and
stormwater management plans. The roads were designed in accordance with the
Department's adopted standards, the Policy on Geometric Design of the American
Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials. The stormwater management
plan is consistent with the standards of the Washington Department of Ecology Stormwater
Management Manual for the Puget Sound Basin. The Public Works Department inspected
construction. The materials used in construction conform to the Standard Specifications of
the Washington Department of Transportation. The roads were constructed in accordance
with the approved plans.
The roads would extend the existing County Road system in the area. An extension of
Parkridge Drive, proposed for Woodland Hills 2, Phase 2, would provide an additional
access to SR 19 (Airport Cut-off Road). Accepting the roads would be consistent with
previous plats and road dedications in the area.
In consideration of the above, I recommend that the Board of County Commissioners
accept Parkridge Drive, Woodland Drive extension, Mountain Vista, Quail Ridge Court,
and Blue Horizon Court as County Roads and approve the resolution adding them to the
County Road Log.
