Box 2070 1322 Washington St. Port Townsend, WA 98368 (360) 385-9160 MEMORANDUM Frank Gifford, Public Works Director Robert G. Turpin, PE., County Engineer TO: Jefferson County Board of Commissioners FROM: Robert Turpin, P.E., County Engineer DATE: August 5, 2003 RE: County Engineer's Report: Timber Ridge Drive County Road dedication The referenced dedication is within the Plat of Timborton Village, Phase 3 in Port Ludlow. The Public Works Department reviewed and approved the road construction plans and the stormwater management plans. The road was designed in accordance with the requirements of the Department's adopted standards, the Policy on Geometric Design of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials. The stormwater management plan is consistent with the standards of the Washington Department of Ecology Stormwater Management Manual for the Puget Sound Basin. The Public Works Department inspected construction. The materials used in construction conform to the Standard Specifications of the Washington Department of Transportation. The road was constructed in accordance with the approved plans. The road would extend the existing County Road system in the area. Accepting the road would be consistent with previous plats and road dedications in Port Ludlow. In consideration of the above, I recommend that the Board of County Commissioners approve the resolution accepting Timber Ridge Drive as a County Road and adding it to the County Road Log. 100% Recycled Paper
