County Rights of Way x
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Engineer has been directed through Resolution #61-03 by the Board of County
Commissioners to determine if there is a public need for a portion of Be1frage Road defined as usage right of way
extending south of Mile Post 0.28, lying in the South 1/2 of Government Lot 3 and Government Lot 4, Section 18,
Township 28 North, Range 1 East. W. M., and;
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Engineer through his preliminary investigation has determined that there is
sufficient public support as demonstrated by the property owners in the area to continue the current status as a County
maintained roadway, and;
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Engineer recommends terminating the vacation process for the subject roadway,
and;
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that it is NOT in the public
interest to vacate the portions ofBe1frage Road Rights of Way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Jefferson County Commissioners that the portion of Resolution
#61-03 with respect to Belfrage Road, No. 503409 be and hereby is rescinded, nullified and removed from the Public
Hearing Examiners Calendar for November 18th, 2003.
