WHEREAS, the following roads have been established as Public Rights-of-Way in the Mats View Meadow
Planned Unit Development; and
WHEREAS, the following roads have been constructed to the standards of the Jefferson County Department
of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, the following roads will be maintained at public expense; and
WHEREAS, the Official County Road Log is filed in the County Engineer's Office;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Engineer is hereby directed to make the following
additions to the Official County Road Log:

County Engineer's Report; Harolds Hollow and Marianne Meadow
County Road dedication
The referenced dedications are within the Mats View Meadow Planned Unit Development
in Port Ludlow. They are accessed fTom Oak Bay Road. The roads would extend the
existing County Road system in the area. They would serve 19 lots within the POD and
approximately 10 building sites on Mats View Drive Private Road.
The roads would not improve circulation. However, accepting the roads would be consistent
with previous road dedications for plats in Port Ludlow.
The Department has reviewed and approved the road construction plans and the stormwater
management plans, The roads were designed in accordance with the Department's adopted
standards, the Policy on Geometric Design of the American Association of State Highway
and Transportation Officials. The stormwater management plan is consistent with the
standards of the Washington Department of Ecology Stormwater Management Manual for
the Puget Sound Basin. The Department has inspected construction. The materials used in
construction conform to the Standard Specifications of the Washington Department of
Transportation, The roads were constructed in accordance with the approved plans.
In consideration of the above, I recommend that the Board of County Commissioners
accept the dedication ofHarolds Hollow and Marianne Meadow as County Roads and
approve the resolution adding them to the County Road Log.
