RESOLUTION NO. 62-02
WHEREAS, it is the desire ofthe County Commissioners of Jefferson County to
dispose of surplus properties, and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has indicated a need to dispose of properties located
in Jefferson County that are described as follows, which have been declared surplus, for
sale at a public auction to be held on December 14, 2001.
Parcel Number 702-224-003 being described as:
That portion of the North Y:z ofthe Northeast Y4 of the Southeast Y4 of Section 22,
township 27 north, Range 2 West of the Willamette Meridian, lying North ofthe
County Road; EXCEPTING therefrom the following described tract: Beginning
at the quarter section comer between sections 22 and 23, Township 27 North,
Range 2 West, W.M.; thence South 64° 21' West 417.2 feet; thence South 36° 21'
West 185.5 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence North 44° l' West 400
feet; thence South 45° 59' West 400 feet; thence South 44° l' East 400 feet;
thence North 45° 59' East 400 feet to the Point of Beginning; all being in the
North Y:z ofthe Northeast Y4 ofthe Southeast Y4 of said Section 22 containing 3.67
acres more or less, and designated on the County Assessor's Plat and Description
Book as Tax No.2 in said Section 22.
Parcel Number 702-224-010 being described as:
Beginning at the quarter section comer between sections 22 and 23, Township 27
North, Range 2 West, W .M.; thence South 64° 21' West 417.2 feet; thence South
36° 21' West 185.5 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence North 44° l' West
400 feet; thence South 45° 59' West 400 feet; thence South 44° l' East 400 feet;
thence North 45° 59' East 400 feet to the Point of Beginning; all being in the
North Y:z of the Northeast Y4 of the Southeast Y4 of said Section 22 containing 3.67
acres more or less, and designated on the County Assessor's
Parcel Number 702-224-012 being described as:
That portion of the Northeast Y4 ofthe Southeast Y4 of Section 22, Township 27
North, Range 2 West of the Willamette Meridian, lying between the right of way
of the county Road and the right of way of Primary State Highway No.9 and
Northeasterly ofthe Northeasterly line of Tax No.3, said Tax No.3 being Pit site
Y-86, conveyed to the State of Washington by deed recorded in Volume 126 of
Deeds, pages 30 and 31 under Auditor's File No. 116243.
WHEREAS, R.C.W. 26.34.020 requires that this intention should be published
with a Notice of Public Hearing regarding the disposal of any County Property,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of Jefferson
County that a Notice of Hearing shall be published as required by RCW 36.34.020
particularly describing the properties proposed to be sold and designating the place
where, the day and hour, when the hearing will be held for such consideration.
