Include Voting Precinct #206 (Thorndyke) }
RESOLUTION NO. 72-02
WHEREAS, at the General Election held on Tuesday, November 5, 2002 a proposition
to expand the boundaries of Park and Recreation District #1 to include voting precinct 206 was
submitted to the voters of Precinct No. 200, 203 and 206 for their approval or rejection; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Auditor has certified in writing that on November 20,
2002, the General Election results were officially certified and a majority of all votes cast upon
the said proposition were in favor of the expansion of Park and Recreation District #1; and
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DECLARED, that such territory is duly
expanded to include voting precinct 206 and shall retain the name of Jefferson County Park and
Recreation District # 1.
