Naming a Private Road X
WHEREAS¡ the Department of Public Works had received a petition to name a private
road Eagle View Road or Eagle's Nest Road or Eagle's Roost Road as shown on attached
Exhibit "A", pursuant to Jefferson County 911 Ordinance Number 2-0401-91 and;
WHEREAS, that petition was denied by the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners
on January 2, 2001 due to the similarity of existing road names, and;
WHEREAS, the petitioner has not submitted another petition to name a private road
within the fourteen days as specified, and;
WHEREAS, research has shown that there are no addresses assigned on this milepost
number at this time that will be affected by establishing the road name as shown on attached
Exhibit liB", and;
WHEREAS, thorough review of the current 911 index reveals that the suggested
names as shown on attached Exhibit IIC" are not similar to existing road names, and;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the road shall be named
Talon's Roost Road
