RESOLUTION NO. 20-01
Whereas, the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No.
09-1002-00, Establishing the Office of County Administrator; and
Whereas, Ordinance No. 09-1002-00 delegates authority to the County
Administrator for the organization, administration and management of those county
departments under direct authority of the Board of Commissioners; and
Whereas, the County Administrator has determined that realignment of duties and
responsibilities within said county departments is desirable for the effective management
of county programs; and
Whereas, the Office of County Administrator can be more effectively managed
by centralizing those functions that support the majority of county departments.
Now Therefore Be It Resolved, that the Departments of Public Safety and Central
Services be formed with those functions identified on the attached Exhibit A under direct
management of the Office of County Administrator.
