TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ON }
SOUTH DISCOVERY ROAD }
COUNTY ROAD No. 601508 }
RESOLUTION NO. 82-01
WHEREAS, planned construction work on South Discovery Road, County Road No. 601508,
Project No. CSl176, shall cause interruption and unavoidable delays to traffic, and
WHEREAS, potential hazard exists to the motoring public and the construction workers, and
WHEREAS, alternate routes are available to the motoring public, and
WHEREAS, Chapter 47.48 RC.W. authorized closure of roads,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that said South Discovery Road from milepost 0.68 (Cape George
Road) to milepost 1.04 (Nelson's Landing Road) be closed to all traffic. Also that Nelson's Landing Road be
closed to through traffic, excepting residents of Nelson's Landing Road, school busses, and emergency vehicles.
Commencing in November, 2001 and terminating in April 2002, or until such earlier date that it is determined to
be safe for traffic, and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that road closures shall occur for a maximum of 51 working days
between the above referenced dates in accordance with the Plans and Specifications for the South Discovery Road
/ RR Bridge Overcrossing Replacement project, CS 1176, and that such closures may be effective for a 24-hour
period and may fall on any day of the week.
