Naming a Private Road X
Doe Run Road X
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has received a petition to name a private
road Coyote Ridge Road, or Doe Run Road, or Cougar Mountain Road as shown on attached
Exhibit" A", pursuant to Jefferson County 911 Ordinance Number 2-0401-91 and;
WHEREAS, the petitioner is a property owner on this road, and;
WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to establish this road name to allow for addressing
along the road and eliminate confusion due to similar road names as required by the
Jefferson County 911 Emergency Locator System Ordinance and;
WHEREAS, research has shown that there are four (4) addresses assigned on this
milepost number at this time that will be affected by establishing the road name as shown
on attached Exhibit "B";
WHEREAS, notification was sent to interested parties and;
WHEREAS, no responses were received and;
WHEREAS, there are existing roads with similar names to Coyote Ridge Road and
Cougar Mountain Road and;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the road be named Doe Run Road.
