The Department of Community Development is in the process of reviewing your application. The
following information is needed to continue review of your project.
Jefferson County has mapped your parcel as a geologically hazardous area. The proposed location
of the new septic system is within this geologically hazardous area, please submit a Geotechnical
Waiver for a special report or a Geotechnical Report prepared by a qualified professional with a state
stamp that addresses 18.22 JCC and supports the proposed location of the septic system.
Please submit the above information to the Department of Community Development within 90 days
of the date of this letter which would be 9/1/2020. Please call 360-379-4450 to speak with the
assigned planner if you have any questions.
