Steps in the Permit Process:
-Review application checklist to ensure all information is completed prior to submitting application.
-Make sure septic has been applied for and water availability has been proven.
-Make an appointment to meet with the Permit Technician by calling 360-379-4450.
-This is not a standalone application; it must be accompanied by a project specific supplemental application.
-Fees will be collected at intake. Additional fees may apply after review and payment is required before permit is issued.

Dear Mr. Redmon:
Your permit application has been reviewed and approval to proceed with foundation work has been
granted, with the inspections to be done in the following order:
Stake out all items on the attached site plan including the location of foundation. Setback
Inspection must be called in for verification and signed off before any further work is done.

Please note that moving forward on the foundation prior to issuance of the building permit is being done
at your own risk. Jefferson County will not be liable for any issues (including septic) or costs that may
arise out of conflict with the location of the foundation as attached.
A copy of this letter will serve as the document to be posted at the job site and used for inspection sign
offs. Upon issuance of the applied for permit, this document will move forward into the building permit
file as part of the permanent record.

All revisions to structural components or plans that previously included structural engineering will need
to have the revision wet stamped and signed by a design professional (engineer, architect etc.) licensed
in WA state.

Remove all plumbing from the building. Per IBC Chapter 29, 2902.2.3, the location of Toilet
Facilities are allowed to be within a path of travel not exceeding 500 feet. We propose the use
of Toilet Facilities in the Quilcene High School Administration Building per attached Exhibit A.
Emergency shower and eye wash will be provided in the building via portable wash stations.
Also attached is an updated floor plan, sheet A2.02, showing the elimination of plumbing
fixtures.
