No. 637109 WSDOT Project No. HLP-SR19(006) Statement of Issue: Award of Contract to Interwest Construction, Inc. of Burlington, WA. for their responsive bid of $573,723.61 for the above referenced project. Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's: Public Works has completed checking the bids for the above referenced project, and recommends award of the contract to the lowest responsive bidder, Interwest Construction, Inc. for their bid amount of $573,723.61. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The bid amount of $573,723.61 will be funded by a WSDOT Safe Routes to School Program grant in the amount of $880,300.00 (100% funding ratio). Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize the Award of Contract to Interwest Construction, Inc. and return the original to Public Works for further processing.
