the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA (VIRTUAL)
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
HEARING NOTICE re: 2022-2023 Jefferson County Biennial Budget; Virtual Hearing Scheduled for
Monday, December 6, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in the Commissioners' Chambers at the Jefferson County
Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA (VIRTUAL)
ANALYSIS:
The hearing notice will be advertised on November 17 and 24, 2021 in The Port Townsend Leader. The
public hearing is scheduled for December 6, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. The Board will hear public testimony
regarding all funds at that time. Written testimony on the proposed 2022-2023 Biennial Budget will be
accepted until the close of the public hearing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing is scheduled by the Jefferson County
Board of Commissioners for MONDAY,December 6, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in the Commissioners'
Chambers, County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend,WA 98368 (NOTE: No
In-Person Attendance Allowed(Per Jefferson County RESOLUTION No.45-21)), and said notice of
said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County, and that at said hearing any
interested person may appear virtually and be heard for or against the 2022-2023 biennial budget
including the General Fund, Public Works, Special Funds, and the Jefferson County Road
Construction Program. The proposed 2022-2023 Biennial Budget is available for viewing on the
County website at https://test.co Jefferson.wa.us/WebLinkExternal/0/fol/3308377/Rowl.aspx
To participate/provide testimony, you will need to join the meeting by 10:30 a.m. To participate

In addition, written testimony is also invited beginning on November 17, 2021 and ending on
December 6, 2021 at the end of the Public Hearing, unless extended by the Board of County
Commissioners. Written public testimony may be submitted by Email to:

1220, Port Townsend, WA 98368. Testimony must be received by the Board of County
Commissioners by the end of the hearing public comment period.
