J-PREP is based on the premise that the ability to deal with a crisis is largely dependent on
the relationships that have been developed before the emergency.
This network is an informal multidiscipline organization. Attendees include the joint
county/city Emergency Management team, local government leaders, emergency response
agencies, civic and service organizations, support partners, local business, organized
emergency preparedness neighborhoods, and other concerned citizens. We meet quarterly to
discuss collaborative disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.
