Funding Recommendation from the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee
(LTAC) (Fund 125 Hotel Motel)
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
DISCUSSION AND POTENTIAL ACTION re: 2022 Lodging Tax Funding Recommendation from the
Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) for Friends of Swansonville.
ANALYSIS:
On November 22, 2021, the County Commissioners approved the recommendation of the Lodging Tax
Advisory Committee for 2022 grant funding allocations. The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC)
received further information and legal advice pertaining to using LTAC funding for Friends of
Swansonville and reviewed it on November 23, 2021. The Commissioners are asked to review the LTAC
recommendation and take action to approve the additional 2022 funding request from Friends of
Swansonville in the amount of$49,452.37.

RECOMMENDATION:
Review the LTAC recommendation and take action to affirm the additional 2022 Hotel Motel fund 125
expenditure as recommended for Friends of Swansonville.
