Hi Monte,
I prepared a summary of this year’s Ecology interest rates as would apply to Port Hadlock….for your
info. The standard interest rate for 20-year is 1.2%, or 1.6% for 30-year loans. With hardship, the
interest rate would be reduced to 0.0% to 0.8% depending on the amount of grant received overall
(reduces the cost of sewer to the customers).
The standard Ecology rate for 20 years is set to be 60% of the bond market. So if rates remain low,
all programs should continue to have low rates.
