Hi Crystal:
So, everyone is running around writing each other letters of support for the various projects they are submitting to
Congressman Kilmer’s office. I’ve been instructed to somehow attach these to our Community Project Funding
Application for the Port Hadlock Sewer to demonstrate that it is widely supported by the other agencies in the area;
however, there does not seem to be any way set up to capture letters of support through the portal. The City of Port
Townsend here in our county called Kilmer's staff who said they were "working on it". Can you figure out some
way to get these appended to our application or into the hands of the right people in the Congressman’s office. Let
me know if you are able to figure this out since I’m sure I’ll be getting questions regarding whether we were able to
follow through. Call if we need to discuss. Thank you.

Within the community funding project portal they ask for the following: List any stakeholders that support this
request. A letter of support is not necessary. Hope this is helpful. Thank you.

Hi Crystal, we know of at least one other jurisdiction that is providing letters of support with their infrastructure
earmark request in Kilmer‘s portal. Do you think this is necessary? His office is very familiar with our sewer
project. I would think we might submit them later if we make the cut? We’d appreciate your thoughts and expertise
on this.
