Dear Dr;. Berry,
As a senior citizen who is more vulnerable from covid, I find it disturbing that we are required to accept aManager’sStatement that his or her employees are vaccinated.
I’m a retired Police Officer , Detective and former Fraud Investigator for the Department of Labor & Industries.We were trained under law and we were aware that courts require corroborating evidence.We couldn’t make a judgement as to who was at fault or who the suspect was based on someone’s say so.
Isn’t my concern for my health as valid as the concern they suggest they have for themselves and other patrons?
I recently had lunch at a well known, highly thought of restaurant called Chinooks in Seattle and a member of thewait staff shared with me that there was an unvaccinated person on staff.If I found one restaurant by accident without any deliberate investigation that had an unvaccinated worker handlingfood,How many more could there be? That employee is likely to be from a less vulnerable age group.
When the elected officials of this country are untruthful and unethical, why should I be expected to believe thatmanagers of the restaurants and movie theaters are being truthful with me when they say, “alll my employees arevaccinated?
Pease, please help me and other patrons feel safe by requiring that these employees are not only vaccinated butpost evidence of that in a conspicuous public place.
THIS MANDATE HAS TO BE CONSISTENT COUNTY, STATE & COUNTRY WIDE TO PUT AN END TOTHIS!
