HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda RequestJefferson County Board of Commissioners Agenda Request To: Board of Commissioners Mark McCauley, Interim County Administrator From: Monte Reinders, P.E., Public Works Director/County Engineer Agenda Date: June 21, 2021 Subject: Execution of Contract, Port Hadlock Water Reclamation Facility Environmental Documentation and Permitting Statement of Issue: Execution of a Professional Services Agreement with Environmental Science Accociates (ESA) to complete project permitting for the above referenced project. Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro’s & Con’s: ESA completed much of this work in 2013. The current scope is to update/refresh the documents/permits and complete the environmental permitting for the current Phase I sewer project. A list of permits is included in the Scope of Work, Exhibit A, of the Agreement. Timely completion of the permitting is required to keep the project on schedule. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The contract amount is $45,791 paid at negotiated hourly rates. Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board sign the Agreement where indicated and return all three (3) originals to Public Works for further processing.
