December 22nd 3:30-4:30pm

Purpose of meeting: Holiday greetings, program discussion

In attendance: Al Scalf, Anne Dean, Denise Banker, Greg Brotherton
Time Activity
3:30 Called meeting to order, approved minutes from November (Al moved, Greg seconded) all
in favor and agenda (Greg moved, Anne seconded) all in favor.
3:35 Holiday cheer icebreaker, everyone shared their most remarkable white elephant gift that
they have gifted/received
4:00 Program discussion
1. Community survey- 101 responses so far, collection ends at the end of December so
we will submit an explanation to DBHR of all attempts to collect surveys
2. Prevention Peer hiring- paperwork should be ready for January recruitment
3. How to structure Guiding Good Choices in the Spring?
Discussed:
Timing of workshops, biweekly or 1x per week
Incentives- what’s possible with DBHR funds
Possibility of renaming the program to something more appealing than Guiding
Good Choices, or using other marketing techniques (including credentials on the
flyer)
Lindsay and Denise will workshop some of the ideas and draft a flyer for the Spring
