Denise brought up the question of when Jeff Co needs to use contracts- vendor
contracts/subcontracts
4:00 Program planning
Shared updates from 1/22/2021 audit from DBHR
Port Townsend and Chimacum audits are complete, Lindsay and Denise are sending
supplemental materials about programs and adding some meetings to the database,
it is not expected that there will be any findings for correction
Share updates from presentation to the Board of Health
Lindsay, Denise, and Karen presented to the Board of Health on 1/21/21
Covered Tobacco/vape cessation resources, Prevention, Youth mental health, Liquor
and Cannabis Board temporary allowances. Follow up questions to BOH may identify
further presentations in the future

Guiding Good Choices Spring 2021
Will be hosted via Zoom in March and April, flyer has been approved for distribution
Vaping education workshops
Scheduled for Quilcene on March 4, Denise and Lindsay to follow up with local
schools for other presentations
Social norms campaign: intern hiring materials are not yet ready for recruitment.
Coalition discussed contracting with The Production Alliance for content production
and project management. Meeting in February with members of workgroup (Greg
Brotherton, Denise Banker, Chris Hoffman-Hill, Erica White, and Lindsay Scalf) to
discuss communications strategy. The next few months will be mostly planning, and
action items would take place in the following grant period (2021-2022)
DBHR Fellowship opportunity- JCPH might partner with DBHR to host a fellow from
4/1/2021-6/31/2021. This person would be a recent college graduate in the social
sciences field, and would be trained to potentially work on capacity building with
the coalition, and be mentored by the coordinator. Discussed how to make sure the
person in this role would be considered part of the coalition, and that the scope of
their work would be well known to avoid confusion when they leave after three
months.
