HomeMy WebLinkAboutOlympic Community Action Programs (OlyCAP), Amendment No. 1 - 011822 (CA signed) Cit\P) 5 Yam, ?)1 C AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN JEFFERSON COUNTY AND OLYMPIC COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAMS (OLYCAP) FOR MANAGING THE FIVE MILL ROAD PROPERTIES PROJECT Whereas, on September 10, 2021 the Interim County Administrator executed a professional o services agreement with OlyCAP to manage the five Mill Road properties project; and -c Whereas, that agreement was in the amount of$250,000; and Whereas, the project is costing more than originally estimated; and Whereas, additional work is needed to complete the permanent encampment site; and Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners has approved up to $1,000,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funds for that project; and Whereas, there is $148,000 left of the $1,000,000 approved; and Whereas, the parties to the agreement wish to amend the agreement to add $148,000 to the not- to-exceed amount; Now, Therefore, the parties agree to amend the agreement as follows: Paragraph 4.b. which currently reads: Payment to Consultant during shall not exceed$250,000 without express written modification of the Agreement signed by the County. Is amended to read: Payment to Consultant shall not exceed$398,000 without express written modification of the Agreement signed by the County.
