That agreement contained incorrect amounts. On December 13, 2021 the Board of County Commissioner's approved the correction of that scrivener's error through a new Memorandum of Agreement. The Washington State University Extension Office in Pullman has requested that the original agreement be terminated so they can approve the new agreement with the correct amounts. ANALYSIS: Attached are two documents. The first document is a termination agreement that terminates the Memorandum of Agreement agreed to by the parties in November, 2021, which is attached. The second document is the new, correct agreement. The Board is asked to approve both documents. Once the Board has approved these two documents we will send both to the Washington State Extension Office in Pullman for their approval. FISCAL IMPACT: New, correct amount - Jefferson County WSU Extension Office: $146,910. RECOMMENDATION: Approve and sign both the termination of the original agreement and the new, corrected agreement. A new Memorandum of Agreement will be executed in its place.
