WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has received a petition to name a
private road Castillo Road or Castillo Drive or Castillo Way as shown on attached Exhibit
n An, pursuant to Jefferson County 911 Ordinance Number 2-0401-91 and;
WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to establish this road name to allow for further
addressing along the road as required by the Jefferson County 911 Emergency Locator
System Ordinance and to avoid confusion in addressing due to similar road names and;
WHEREAS, research has shown that there are five property owners currently
addressed on this mile post number that will be affected by the road naming as shown on
attached Exhibit "B", and;
WHEREAS, thorough review of the current 911 index reveals that there are no roads
with similar names at this time, and;
WHEREAS, over 51 % of the property owners addressed on this mile post number
have signed the petition, and;
WHEREAS, the petitioner is the sixth property owner addressed on this road, and;
WHEREAS, notification was sent to interested parties on July 27, 2000 as shown
on attached Exhibit "C", and;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL
