RESOLUTION NO. 95-00
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 85.38, residents of North Port Ludlow petitioned
Jefferson County to Authorize an election to establish a drainage district, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners authorized an election to
establish the district, and
WHEREAS, the owners of a majority of the property within the proposed district
voted to establish the district, and
WHERAS, Jefferson County has incurred costs in the establishment of the drainage
district and will incur additional costs related to preparing the district special assessment system,
and
WHERAS, RCW 85.38 provides that the costs incurred by the County Engineer,
Auditor, and Treasurer shall be reimbursed by the district,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of County Commissioners
that the Port Ludlow Drainage District illterim Fund Account Number 695.001.030 is hereby
established with monies from a Loan from the General Fund.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that expenditures from the Port Ludlow Drainage
District illterim Fund may be for any purpose as allowed by law upon the Board of Commissioners
establishing a budget for t~e fund., -¡p,.
