Naming Of a Private Road
Scenic View Lane

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has previously received a petition to
name a private road Scenic View which has been approved by the Board of County
Commissioners as shown on attached Exhibit "A" and;
WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to add Lane to the previously submitted Road
name to avoid any excess traffic the" Scenic View" road sign would cause.
WHEREAS, all the petitioners have agreed to add the word "Lane" to the original
petition.
WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to establish this road name to avoid confusion in
addressing and duplication of similar road names and addresses and;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the road shall be re-named
Scenic View Lane.

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has received a petition to name a
private road Shine View or Scenic View or View Ridge as shown on attached Exhibit
"A", pursuant to Jefferson County 911 Ordinance Number 2-0401-91 and;"
WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to establish this road name to avoid confusion in
addressing and duplication of similar road names and addresses and;
WHEREAS, the first choice is similar to previously established road names in other
townships;
WHEREAS, research has shown that no property owners are currently addressed
on this mile post number that will be affected by the road naming as shown on attached
Exhibit "8", and;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED. that the road shall be named Scenic View.
