RESOLUTION NO.31-99
WHEREAS, Jefferson County Board of Commissioners on AprilS, 1999 called for
bids for the above mentioned proj ect, and;
WHEREAS, due notice of the call for bids was given as required by law, and;
WHEREAS, SEVEN bids were received and opened during public session on
AprilS, 1999 at 11:05 a.m., as shown in the attached bid tabulation, and;
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the people of Jefferson County to select the
most responsive of the SIX acceptable bids, now therefore,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the best and most responsive bid was submitted by
PORTAC INe., for a total bid amount of$318,834.29 and that this bid be accepted and
IT IS FURTHER RESOL VED, that the specifications and contract documents in
their entirety as included in the bid package, are part ofthis bid acceptance.
