BUDGET APPROPRIA TIONSIEXTENSIONS
COUNTY DRUG FUND

RESOLUTION NO. 39-99
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners did on the 19th day of
April, 1999, declare that an emergency existed to provide the listed amount from the
unencumbered balance of the County Drug Fund and to set a hearing on said emergency for the 3rd
day of May, 1999, at the hour of 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, this being the time and place set for said hearing and no objection or
objection interposed; now, therefore,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, by the Board of County Commissioners, that due to
there being sufficient funds in the unencumbered balance of this fund, that the County Auditor be,
and she is hereby authorized to extend the budget of the fund by the amount listed below and per
the attached request.

RE: REQUEST FOR EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION/AMENDMENT

Please be advised that after a thorough examination of my current budget it appears that the
amount allocated in BARS Account No, 515.10.64 of $0.00 of the Drug Fund category is
insufficient to pay necessary expenses of this department for this year. After a careful
examination of all the expenditures within the department budget with respect to present and
future needs, I find there are cash funds available to transfer into the deficient account.
Therefor, I request an emergency appropriation in the amount of $6.500.00 for this current year
for the following reason(s) as outlined below:
