It was noted that Jefferson County Department of Community Development (DCD) received an application about a decade ago for a Boundary Line Adjustment (BLA). This BLA application included the small Smersh parcel north of Shine Road. This came up in our discussion because information DCD received from the Assessor's Office indicates the steps to finalize the BLA have not been completed. As a result, there may not be access to the above -referenced Smersh parcel for parking or stockpiling materials. During the meeting yesterday, I said that I would forward on some information about the BLA proposal. Information available to me at this time includes: BLA application number: MLA12-00245/SUB2012-00021 • Applicants: Bruce and Debra Olsen, and Jacob Just; James Smersh is listed as a property owner. • Approval from DCD: October 1, 2013 ■ Comment from Assessor's Office: The Smersh's were part of a Boundary Line Adjustment in 2013 which basically would have doubled their lot size. However, the conveyance deed from the 2nd party involved(Olsen and Just) was never filed, so the BLA was not completed on our end. When the conveyance document from the Olsen's and Just parties are filed I can complete the BLA to adjust the property boundaries. Let me know if you have any questions.
