In the Matter of:
Providing a Positive Cash Balance
for Bayshore Motel Fund
RESOLUTION NO 44-99
WHEREAS the emergency closure of Highway 101 has diminished the
flow of traffic; and
WHEREAS, the Bayshore Motel is located on Highway 101; and,
WHEREAS, the Bayshore Motel's revenues have been greatly reduced.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED, that the County Treasurer be
and is hereby authorized to transfer funds from the General Fund in the amount of
$15,000.00 to the Bayshore Motel Fund to be held as a Restricted Fund Balance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Restricted Fund Balance shall
be used to provide funding during the year to maintain a positive cash balance for said
fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED, that the disclosure for transfer of such
funds shall be made as a Residual Equity transfer on the County's Annual Financial
Statements.
