Cash Balance for the, Jefferson County
Community Network Fund

RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Community Network Fund was established as a
separate fund in the 1999 Jefferson County Budget~ and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County budget policy requires a minimum 10% reserve to
provide cash flow and emergency expenditures~ and
WHEREAS, the services provided by the Jefferson County Community Network rely on
state and federal grant funds that may take up to two (2) months to be reimbursed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer be and is hereby
authorized to transfer funds from the General Fund in the amount of $10,000.00 to the Jefferson
County Community Network Fund to be held as a Restricted Fund Balance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED, that the Restricted Fund Balance shall be used to provide
funding during the year to maintain a positive cash balance for said fund
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the disclosure for transfer of such funds shall be
made as a Residual Equity transfer on the County's Annual Financial Statements.
