WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has petitioned to the Board of County
Commissioners to name a private road W. Third Street or W, Third Road or W. Third Drive as
shown on attached Exhibit" A", pursuant to Jefferson County 911 Ordinance Number 2~
0401-91 and;
WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to establish this road name to allow for further
addressing along the road as required by the Jefferson County 911 Emergency Locator
System Ordinance and to avoid confusion in addressing due to similar road names and;
WHEREAS, research has shown that there are no addressed property owners
currently addressed on this mile post number that will be affected by the road naming as
shown on attached Exhibit I/BI/, and;
WHEREAS, notification was sent to interested parties on June 1, 1999 and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the road shall be named W. Third Street.
