RESOLUTION NO. 58-99
WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Fund owns and operates its own equipment, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to set aside funds for future replacement of solid waste
equipment and there was a net income in the Solid Waste Fund in 1998 of$73,498;
IT IS HEREBY FOUND AND DECLARED that the public health safety and
welfare requires this Board of County Commissioners to proceed in manner and form as herein
determined, and that the amount of $73,498 be transferred to the Solid Waste Improvement Fund,
this fund to be renamed the Solid Waste Equipment Reserve Fund. These funds will be invested
and the interest accrued into investments to be reserved for budgeted equipment replacement for
future years.
