Reinforcement was checked for proper size, grade, lap splice, spacing, cover, clearance etc. All work appeared to be done in accordance with approved project plans and specifications provided on-site by contractor. Noteworthy Items: Contractor used #4 rebar while plans state #3 rebar to be used. To the best of MTC inspector's knowledge, the above-described work was performed in general accordance with project specifications and approved plans. Reinforcing steel was checked for proper size, grade, lap splice, placement, cover, clearance, spacing etc. and was secure prior to concrete placement. All work was done according to project plans and specifications provided on-site by contractor. CONCRETE PLACEMENT: Continuous Inspection Drawings indicate that they conform to 2015 IBC, Seismic Design Category D. MTC inspector on site, as requested, to observe the placement of approximately 20 CY of concrete with Mix Design ID #01500 supplied by Miles into footings and interior SOG at the location noted above. One set of five (4” x 8”) cylinders was cast for compressive strength test specimens. Refer to Report #C251513 for field test results and for more information. Concrete was placed via PumpTruck, was mechanically consolidated with high-cycle vibrator, and finished by hand. To the best of MTC inspector's knowledge, the above-described work was performed in general accordance with project specifications and approved plans.
