In the Matter of Amending
Resolution No. 95-99 regarding
the County Building Fund

RESOLUTION NO. 100-99
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution
No. 95-99 on November 15, 1999 allowing interest to accrue to the County General Fund from
specifically identified funds; and,
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Building Fund #305-000-010 was identified by
Resolution No, 95-99 as one ofthe funds to be invested as Treasurer's Cash with interest
accruing to the County General Fund; and,
WHEREAS, due to the nature of the source of the funds that make up the County
Building Fund and because Resolution No. 113-96 which established this fund states that
"County Building Fund reserves shall be invested by the County Treasurer and interest shall be
earned for the benefit of the County Building Fund"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED, that the Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners that the Jefferson County Building Fund Account No. 305-000-010 be removed
from the provisions of Resolution No. 95-99 and that the investment of interest remain as
provided for in Resolution No, 113-96 that established the fund,
