HomeMy WebLinkAbout020722cabs02 JEFFERSON COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST TO: Board of County Commissioners Mark McCauley, Interim County Administrator FROM: Greg Brotherton, District No. 3 Commissioner DATE: February 7, 2022 SUBJECT: WORKSHOP: Economic Development Council (EDC) Team Jefferson American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Grants Update STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Team Jefferson EDC will give an update on the Small Business and Technical Service Grant programs using the $500,000 allocated from the ARPA funds. They will speak to the process, timeline and partnerships. ANALYSIS: Team Jefferson EDC has been working closely with the BOCC on the criteria for the Small Business Grants, and has added a new Technical Service Grants aspect. Staff will explain the process and talk about recent partnership with the Jefferson Community Foundation in exploring efficient processing of grant applications. FISCAL IMPACT: None.
