SUBJECT: WORKSHOP: Economic Development Council (EDC) Team Jefferson
American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Grants Update
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Team Jefferson EDC will give an update on the Small Business and Technical Service Grant programs using
the $500,000 allocated from the ARPA funds. They will speak to the process, timeline and partnerships.
ANALYSIS:
Team Jefferson EDC has been working closely with the BOCC on the criteria for the Small Business Grants,
and has added a new Technical Service Grants aspect. Staff will explain the process and talk about recent
partnership with the Jefferson Community Foundation in exploring efficient processing of grant
applications.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None. This is a check-in on the $500,000 budgeted ARPA expenditure.
RECOMMENDATION:
Listen to presentation and ask any questions the BOCC has.
