CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION
MEETING MINUTES
January 25, 2022
Chair Ken Przygocki called the meeting to order at 2:01 p.m. in the presence of Commissioner Dennis
Cowan, Commissioner Bob Gebo and Chief Examiner Steve Richmond.
Call to Order
Reorganization of the Board and Election of Chairman for 2022: Commissioner Gebo moved to
nominate Commissioner Cowan to assume the duties as Chairman (effective on February 22, 2022).
Chair Przygocki seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
Establish Regular Meeting Dates:The Commission agreed to remain with the current regular meeting
date and time.The Regular Meeting date and time will be published as the last Tuesday of every month
at 2:oopm., January 25, 2022—December 27, 2022. Secretary Shannon to send in publication of this to
the newspaper.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Commissioner Gebo moved to approve the minutes of November 3o, 2021. Chair Przygocki seconded
the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
OLD BUSINESS
UPDATE re: Administrative Clerk/Records Officer Examination and Eligibility List
Chief Examiner Richmond gave an update regarding the Administrative Clerk/Records Officer
Examination and Eligibility List. There were four applicants who tested on December ii, 2021.There
were no passing scores to create an Eligibility List. Chief Examiner Richmond is working with the
Sheriff's Office Confidential Secretary to edit the Examination and Job Description.The Board agreed
to have and the examination advertised for March,further discussion will be included in the February
Regular Meeting.
NOTICE OF ADJOURNMENT:
Chair Przygocki moved to adjourn the meeting at 2:29 p.m. Commissioner Gebo seconded the motion
which carried by a unanimous vote.
NEXT MEETING:
February 22, 2022 or a Special Meeting if properly noticed pursuant to RCW 42.30.080.
