Meeting called to order by Chairman Walter A. Kelly with all members present. Bid Opening for the Repair of Shine Boat Ramp: Astro Paving, Inc $4 ,064 .25 Don M. Drury Co $5 ,633 .25 McClanahan Const $3 ,260.25 . Engineer's Estimate $3,150.00 - - Motion by Commissioner O'Meara , second by Commissioner Brown for Engineer to check all totals for possible errors. Unanimous . After checking, -:gi ?eer Becker advised that all totals are correct and recommends that McClanaha Const. be awar-:,_-.f. the bid. Motion by Commissioner O'Meara, second by Commissioner Brown to award bid to _`: cClanahan Const. Co. for the amount of $3,260.25 , tax included. Unanimous. Mr. Palmer McCarter, County Extension Agent, appeared re: Setting up of siminars on various new rules and regulations pertaining to Shoreline Management, Solid Waste, etc. Board believes meetings should be s:h_eduled to serve the entire region. Mr. McCarter will contact Kenneth Sweeney, Olympic R:e__ nal Planning Council. Jim Cotton and Ed Croon appeared to present proposed plans_ for a plat in Irdondale. Said it will also be necessary to ask for vacation of street. Advised by Engineer Becker to present preliminary plans and petition to vacate at the same time so both hearings can be scheduled for the same day. They also request permission to obtain water from the County. Board informed that county has no water, landowner must develop well and then petition the county for take-over. Camper Club Ordinance: Appearing are Norris Short, Chairman, Planning Commission, and Chet Dalgleish, Member. Mr. Short advised that Planning Commission does not approve of multiple membership per site , but does approve of membership rental rights , whereas each member shall have the right to rent their own site . It was decided to permit additional sales up to 300% , at the discretion of the Board. Sec. 4 .02 Density Requirements: Changed to seven sites per acre with provisions that upon recommendation by the Planning Commission, the Board of Commissioners may approve up to ten sites per acre . Sec. 4 .06 Waterfront Areas: Addition to second paragraph; "with conveniently located restroom facilities, if needed,.at a minimum of 100' back from the high water mark, provided soil conditions are satisfactory: Sec. 4 . 16 -.imitations on Sale and Use of Camp Site: Change wording to read: In the case of a Planned Unit Development, the Board may, at it's sole discretion, upon consideration of a specific Plan, __m__t additional sales up to 300% of the total number of sites, prior to the sale of the first me-~ ership. Subleasing and rental of membership rights shall be permitted, but multiple occupancy of any camp site is prohibited. Sec. 6. 0^f5 insert the word "use" between lease or transfer. Ordinance will be typed up for adoption next Monday. Proposal from Builders Concrete,Inc. for material for the construction of floats for Lake Leland. Motion by Commissioner O'Meara, second by Commissioner Brown to accept proposal for the amount of $2 ,832 .90, tax included. Unanimous . Engineer Becker will notify of acceptance. Motion by Commissioner O'Meara , second by Commissioner Brown to approve minutes of last meeting . Unanimous . Board approved and signed Resolution No. 17-73, as follows: County Road Project No. 362 . h inutoes of April 30th. con't. Board approved and signed Resolution No. 18-73 , as follows: County Road Project No. 363 . Engineer Becker requested permission to Call for Bids for the purchase of One Goosemeck Tilt Bed Trailer of 30 ton capacity, to be opened and read May 14th. Permission granted by the Board . Board approved and signed Bid Calls to be opened and read May 14th. , as follows: 1) Cleaning and painting of the Portage Canal Bridge No. 4/157 . 2) Repair, replacing and other work on Queets River Bridge No. 206/050 . 3) Cleaning and painting of Queets River Bridge No. 206/060. Board received copy of notice of withdrawal of application for liquor license for Lloyd Franklin Besaw d/b/a Curley's Place . Board adjourned to interview applicants for EEA Parks Maintenance Man position.
