Meeting called to order by Chairman A.M.O'Meara with all members present. Mrs . Patsy Cadero appeared re: Property valuation. Stated valuation told to her in the Assessor: Office was not the same as agreed when she appeared before the Board of Equalization. Board will check for error, at lunchtime . Request from Evergreen Environmental Development Corp. and Dept. of Ecology to adopt the Comprehensive Sewerage Plan for South Toandos Peninsula , by Hill, Ingman & Chase , as a "preliminary engineering report" . . . Motion by Commissioner Kelly, second by Commissioner Huntingford to adopt Plan as addition to County Comprehensive Plan and as Preliminary Eng . Report. Unanimous by Board . Request for appointment of one or more Board members to serve on shorelines committee on be- half of 43B . Motion by Commistioner Kelly, second by Commissioner Huntingford to appoint A.M. O'Meara . Accepted by O'Meara . Request from Greenacres , Inc. to sell a number of the remaining lots (in wholesale transaction) in Pleasant Tides Estates , to another developer. Board stated if lots were sold as stated , new developer would be restricted to sale of lots , the same as original owner - agreement 1971 . Motion by Commissioner Kelly, second by Commissioner Huntingford to approve sale of lots , on wholesale basis , with original restrictions , due to insufficient water supply and incomplete- tion of roads . Unanimous by Board. )( Copy of letter to Eng . Becker, from G. Brian Egan, regarding his property in plat of Williams Addition. Letter will be written to Fred Williams requesting him to appear before the Board concerning this matter. Review of Membership Camper Club Subdivision Ordinance by Board and Eng . Becker. Some additions and changes by O'Meara and Becker . Commissioners Huntingford and Kelly wish to check further. Tabled until later meeting. Motion by Commissioner Kelly, second by Commissioner Huntingford to approve and sign Res- olution No. 31-72 , Establishing new budget for Shoreline Management Survey. Unanimous by Board . Resolution as follows: Motion by Commissioner Kelly, second by Commissioner Huntingford to approve and sign Res- olution No. 32-72 , Transfer of funds from Agriculturist, County Agent, Budget of Salaries , to Capital Outlay. Unanimous by Board . Resolution as follows: Board approved and signed Resolution No. 33-72 , CRP No. 351 , for additional funds to replace bridge on Upper Hoh Road 0,216 . . Motion by Commissioner Huntingford , second by Commissioner Kelly to approve and sign Agree- ment and Resolution No. 34-72 re: Federal Aid Project No. S-0497(9) , Quilcene-Center Road. Unanimous by Board. Resolution ds follows: Mr. Palmer McCarter, County Agent, appeared to present a brochure on'Taxes in Washington" to the Commission and :o ask Cornmissiolier Kelly if he would assist him in getting acquainted with the people in the West- end of the County/ Kelly said he would be glad to help in any way. Commissioner Huntingford informed Mr. IVtcCarter there is Tanzy-ragwart started in the county and requested that both Eng . Becker and he go along county roads and eliminate this poisonous weed. i Mr. Bob Hays appeared re: Dangerous stretch of state highway on Hood Canal. Stated this r Minutes of September 5th . con't. area has been the scene of three serious accidents the last few months and in his opinion, there should be a double line and a "No Passing" sign. Engineer Becker will assist with this request and notify the State Highway Dept. Auditor, Betty Temple , informed Board that all necessary figures for the budget are still not available and requests postponement of approval of preliminary budgets until Oct. 16th . (RCW 36 .40 . 071 for alternate date for budget hearing). Motion by Commissioner Huntingford, second by Commissioner Kelly for postponement of hearing date . Unanimous by Board . Res- olution will be drawn up for Board's signature next Monday. Letter from City Engineer re: Shoreline Management Permit for Admiralty Hotel. Advisory Com- mission will check out proposed construction and inform of findings . Board reviewed the following correspondence without comment: Two notices from the Dept. of Natural Resources; (1) County trust land transmittal of funds , $189, 000 from Simpson Timber Co. (2) Informing of new mapping system. Latest proposed "Minimum Functional Standards on Solid Waste Handling" - WAC 173-301 . Notice from State Traffic Safety Commission re: Traffic Safety Requirements . Notice from Dept. of Transportation re: Transportation needs of cities and States , of Region 10 . Forest Service News , Pacific N.W. Region re: Counties share increase in National Forest Earnings . Mr. L.V.Eaton and Mr. Jack Cunningham attended todays Board meeting. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned .
