10:00a .m. Meeting called to order by Chairman A.M.O' Meara with all members present.
Hearing for Shoreline Management Permit for Dept. of Natural Resources for logging bridge on
Shale Creek. Motion by Commissioner Huntingford, second by Commissioner Kelly to approve.
Unanimous by Board.
Hearing for Shoreline Management Permit or Puget Sound Power and Light Co. for submarine
cable under Hood Canal between East ter�inal, one mile N.W. of Silverdale , Kitsap Co. &
West terminal, 12 miles South of Dabob at Hazel Point. Motion by Commissioner Huntingford,
second by Commissioner Kelly to approve. Unanimous by Board.
Mrs . Norma Clique appear.ed re: Closure of county road through Sec. 10, T.29 , R. 1 W.WM.,
running from road kno as West Valley Road to Anderson Lake Road. Mrs . Clique stated she
wanted the road open end not vacated. Feels closure would devaluate her property and possibly
cause a fire hazard. Commi,ssioner Huntingford stated Engineer Becker blocked off road due to
berry pickers bus nearly having a, very serious accident on the one 'bad corner and that road
was closed for safety reasons . Becker stated road is not closed, only has one end blocked off .
Road can be regraded and opened and it will be one as soon as possible, but it will not be
opened until it's safe . Satisfactory with Mrs . Clique.
Board signed contract with Owen's Brothers ,1 Inc. for construction of Rock Creek Bridge.
Becker informed Board that parts of Center Road, Beaver Valley Intersection and Port Ludlow
Intersection needs additional paving. Motion by Commissioner Huntingford, second by
Commissioner Kelly to Call for Bids to bet opened and read October 2nd .
Motion by Commissioner Kelly, second by Vtommissioner Huntingford to approve minutes of
July 10th. through' September llth. meetings with two corrections . Unanimous by Board.

Board received copy of pre-application notification form from Clallam=Jefferson County
Community Action Council for their prop sed project concerning antipoverty Programs. Notice
will be sent of Boards approval.
Board received inquiry from the Secretary of the Treasurery for adequate titles and addresses
of all receipients for Federal Revenue Sharing. Notice received on Sept. 15th., filled out and
returned the same day by Auditor, Betty Temple .
Board reviewed the following correspondence without comment:
Request from Clifford E. Aden, Traffic Safety Commission, for all correspondence
to be addressed to himipersonally.
Notice from Washington StateiParks & Recreation Commission of National Register
Properties in Washington State .
Mr. Harold Brown, Mr. Ken Harrington,1 Mr. William Pittis and Mrs . Bernice Ingman appeared
for today's meeting.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
