To complete this requirement, view all the slides in this file and follow the instructions contained in the notes panel (below) on each slide. Each slide has unique instructions. Do not delete or add slides. When attached via the PRISM On-Line Application Wizard, this file must have 12 total slides. 1) Read this slide. 2) Save this file to your computer. Save often. 3) Go to next slide. 1 2 Identify Grant Application Applicant Organization: Jefferson County Sportsmans Association Project Name: JeffCo Sportsmans Noise Abatement & Safety Project Number: 18-2651 Click on the Red boxes and fill in the appropriate information. The “Applicant Organization,” “Project Name,” “and Project Number” should be identical to the information in Prism On-Line. 2) Go to next slide. 2 3 Regional Location Map Jefferson County Sportsman’s Club The Regional Location Map shows grant managers and evaluators where your club is located within the state. In the existing slide: Move the yellow call-out bubble to show where your project/facility is located in the state. You may need to rotate the bubble so it is not off the slide. Delete “Renton Fish & Game Club” and provide the name of your range/club. Go to next slide. 3 4 Site Location Map The Site Location Map you see for the Kettle Falls Gun Club is provided as an example of what a typical map should look like. The Site Location Map shows grant managers and evaluators the location of your project within a local area (county, city, community, etc.). This allows them to better understand the surrounding geography, land uses, roadways, etc. To Do: Delete the above map Paste your own Site Location Map in the above slide. Make sure to clearly identify where your facility is located. If able, indicate the perimeter/boundary of your facility. Go to next slide. 4 5 Adjacent Uses Map County Solid Waste Transfer Station & Humane Society Jefferson County Sportsman’s Club Dispersed Residential Dispersed Residential The Adjacent Uses Map you see here is provided as an example of what a typical map should look like. The map shows grant managers and evaluators the location of the project within a small area (community, neighborhood, etc.) and details about the immediately adjacent and nearby land uses. This allows them to better understand the interaction with the range and neighbors. To Do: Delete the above map Paste your own Adjacent Uses Map in the above slide. Make sure to clearly label all features and existing uses within and nearby your facility. Show the boundary of your facility. Go to next slide. 5 6 Facility Layout Map 6 Facility Layout Map Archery Rifle & Pistol Location of Safety & Noise Abatement Modules The Facility Layout Map you see here is provided as an example of what a typical map might look like. The map shows grant managers and evaluators an up-close view of the existing elements at your facility, all ranges, how users access and move about the site, and where support amenities (parking, restrooms, clubhouses, etc.) are located. To Do: Delete the above map Paste your own Facility Layout Map in the above slide. Make sure to clearly label all features within and adjacent to your facility. Show the boundary of your facility. Show where the planned improvements (developments, renovation, capital equipment purchases) will be located. Go to next slide. 6 7 Development Site Plan The Development Site Plan you see here is provided as an example of what a typical plan might look like. The plan shows grant managers and evaluators the scope and configuration of the planned construction, renovation, and/or placement of equipment to be purchased in more detail. The map should show the specific site where work will take place and what activities will occur. In this example, the short rifle range is being renovated to create a new target area and berm. To Do: Delete the above map Paste your own Development Site Plan in the above slide. Make sure to clearly label all features on your plan including existing and future conditions. Show the boundary of your facility. Show the dimensions of the site and any improvements (developments, renovation, capital equipment purchases). Go to next slide. 7 8 Floor Plan (1 of 2) The Floor Plan you see here is provided as an example of what a typical Floor Plan might look like. It shows grant managers and evaluators the size and configuration of the building to be built, expanded, or renovated. The Floor Plan should be of the completed project, or existing conditions with an overlay of what the proposed project will accomplish. To Do: Delete the above map If your grant/project does not include the construction or renovation of a clubhouse, firing line cover, storage building, restroom, shelter, etc. go to the next slide. If your grant/project does include the construction or renovation of a structure, paste your own Floor Plan a structure in the above slide. If you are renovating, building, more than one structure, include the second Floor Plan on next slide. Visuals help grant managers and evaluators understand how your facility or property looks and functions. Paste up to 4 pictures of your existing and/or future facility that shows its main features and uses. Provide captions for all photos. Paste up to 4 pictures of your existing and/or future facility that shows its main features and uses. Provide captions for all photos. Be sure to include people in at least some of your photos. 2) Go to next slide 10 You have completed the FARR Application Maps and Visuals attachment PowerPoint! 11 Congratulations! Save your work. Go to the “Attachments” section of your application in Prism On-Line and attach this required file. Make sure you select the “FARR Application Maps and Visuals” file name. 11
