Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's £t Con's: This change order is necessary to pay for two additional Cement Concrete Driveway Entrances and driveway ramps, which were omitted in the original construction Plans. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The cost increase for Change Order No. 1 is $2,608.21 and 2 Working Days. The contract amount will increase from $573,723.61 to $576,331.82. The project is funded at 100% by a WSDOT Safe Route to School Program (State) grant. Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize Change Order No. 1 with Interwest Construction, Inc., and return two originals to Public Works for further processing.
