Dear Mr. Ramey:,
You have requested that we amend our geotechnical report for the above referenced
location dated July 15, 2002,. to provide for asetback- distance -from >the bluff to the
proposed house of 73' rather than 75' as mentioned in the report. It is understood that.
this two-foot reduction is desired because. of-the setback restrictions from the street side
imposed by the Cape: George Colon. y in that they measure. to the eave of the house
rather than to the-wall of-the house. It is further understood -that you-have approached
the Cape George Colony requesting a variance; which they refused.-
- We hereby revise:-our report and .recommend a setback distance of not less than- 73'
from the top edge of the bluff to the. proposed-home, to be.accompanied by a-one-foot
deep increase in the proposed depth of the footings. This new setback distance does not
alter -the conclusions, limitations or recommendations of the previous report except that
the reduction in setback may result in a corresponding: reduction in the-economic life of
the home.
