This change is being made due to the ommision of these Cement Conc. Driveway Entrances on the Plan. Existing item 15 HMA for Pavement Repair CL.1/2 In PG 58H-22(commercial HMA)•TON This change order adds the two additional asphalt driveway ramps associated with the two additional Cement Conc.Driveway Entrances at sta.14+97.03 and sta.17+52.83. Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's: This change order is necessary to pay for two additional Cement Concrete Driveway Entrances and driveway ramps, which were omitted in the original construction Plans. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The cost increase for Change Order No. 1 is $2,608.21 and 2 Working Days. The contract amount will increase from $573,723.61 to $576,331.82. The project is funded at 100% by a WSDOT Safe Route to School Program (State) grant. Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize Change Order No. 1 with Interwest Construction, Inc., and return two originals to Public Works for further processing.
