APPROVAL OF MINUTES Vice-Chairman Taylor moved to approve the meeting minutes of March 2, 2022. Member Raab seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. DETERMINATIONS Per WAC 458-14-095(4) post hearing deliberations of the Board of Equalization are not recorded. The Board began post hearing deliberations at 10:03 a.m. At the conclusion of the deliberations the Board resumed the regular meeting at 10:45 a.m. and the following actions were taken. After reviewing all the information submitted, the Board concurred that the appellant did not present clear, cogent, and convincing evidence necessary to overcome the presumptive correctness of the Assessor. Vice-Chairman Taylor moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of$606,527 ($175,563 for the land and $430,964 for the improvement). Member Raab seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Lake Morton Drive SE Kent, WA. 98092 The Board of Equalization held a hearing on March 2, 2022. After reviewing all the information submitted, the Board concurred that the Appellant gave new information to the Assessor at the Hearing and the Assessor agreed the land value $148,500 was too high. The Appellant and Assessor agreed that $100,00 was applicable. The Board of Equalization overrules the Assessor's original valuation and finds that the new true and fair market value is $134,988 ($100,000 for the land and $34,988 for the improvements). Vice-Chairman Taylor moved to sustain the Assessor's corrected valuation of$183,488 ($100,000 for the land and $34,988 for the improvement). Member Raab seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. (See also minutes of March 2, 2022) Timothy D. and Patricia A. Van Horn BOE 21-11-R PN: 001 322 036 1345 Thorndyke Road Port Ludlow, WA. 98365 The Board of Equalization held a hearing on March 2, 2022. After reviewing all the information submitted,the Board concurred that the appellants did not present clear, cogent, and convincing evidence necessary to overcome the presumptive correctness of the Assessor. Vice-Chairman Taylor moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of$457,467 ($133,250 for the land and $324,217 for the improvement). Member Raab seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
