Vice-Chairman Margaret Taylor was absent. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Member Raab moved to approve the meeting minutes of March 9 and 16, 2022. Chairman Gillette seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. DETERMINATIONS Per WAC 458-14-095(4)post hearing deliberations of the Board of Equalization are not recorded. The Board began post hearing deliberations at 10:03 a.m. At the conclusion of the deliberations the Board resumed the regular meeting at 10:57 a.m. and the following actions were taken. Ryan E. and Marcie L. Lammers BOE 21-21-R PN: 901 112 032 10234 Rhody Drive Chimacum, WA. 98325 The Board of Equalization held a hearing on March 30, 2022. After reviewing all the information submitted and discussed in the Hearing,the Board agreed with the Assessor who volunteered to apply trending valuation back to the date of the Appraisal, January 1, 2021. The Board of Equalization overrules the Assessor's original valuation and finds that the new true and fair market value is $103,827. Member Raab moved to overrule the Assessor's original valuation and accept the new valuation of $103,827. Chairman Gillette seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. After reviewing all the information submitted and discussed in the Hearing, the Board agreed with the Assessor who volunteered to apply trending valuation back to the date of the Appraisal, January 1, 2021. The Board of Equalization overrules the Assessor's original valuation and finds that the new true and fair market value is $511,100. Member Raab moved to overrule the Assessor's original valuation and accept the new valuation of $511,100. Chairman Gillette seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. (See also minutes of March 30, 2022) Ryan E. and Marcie L. Lammers BOE 21-23-LO PN: 901 112 052 10234 Rhody Drive Chimacum,WA. 98325 The Board of Equalization held a hearing on March 30, 2022. After reviewing all the information submitted, the Board concurred that the appellant did not present clear, cogent, and convincing evidence necessary to overcome the presumptive correctness of the Assessor. Member Raab moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of$74,978 land only. Chairman Gillette seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. (See also minutes of March 30, 2022) Karl J. and Sandra Jacobsen BOE 21-24-LO PN: 977 100 811 4327 S. Discovery Road Port Townsend, WA. 98368 The Board of Equalization held a hearing on March 30, 2022. After reviewing all the information submitted, the Board concurred that the Appellant gave new information and agreed the value $27,500 was too high. The Board of Equalization overrules the Assessor's original valuation and finds that the new true and fair market value is $20,625. Member Raab moved to overrule the Assessor's original valuation and accept the new valuation of $20,625. Chairman Gillette seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Discovery Road Port Townsend,WA. 98368 The Board of Equalization held a hearing on March 30, 2022. After reviewing all the information submitted,the Board concurred that the appellant did not present clear, cogent, and convincing evidence necessary to overcome the presumptive correctness of the Assessor. Member Raab moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of$455,864 ($260,561 for the land and $195,303 for the improvement). Chairman Gillette seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
