STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
ADVISORY BOARD RESIGNATIONS (2) re: Jefferson County Library Board of Trustees; 1) Trustee Hal
Beatie and; 2) Trustee Raj Rakhra
ANALYSIS:
A letter was received from Tamara Meredith, Jefferson County Rural Library Director, with notice Trustee
Hall Beatie was resigning at the end of his second term of service effective May 2022 and Trustee Raj
Rakhra resigned in April 2022. Ms. Meredith is advertising the vacancy to pursue new appointments for
these open positions.
RECOMMENDATION:
Accept the ADVISORY BOARD RESIGNATIONS (2) re: Jefferson County Library Board of Trustees; 1)
Trustee Hal Beatie and; 2) Trustee Raj Rakhra
